Melva Larce Brewer Goodwin 75, of Pleasant Hill Community died in Little Rock, Arkansas December 2, 2014. She was born May 22, 1939 to Melvin and Retha (Gammill) Brewer in the Roasting Ear Creek Community near Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Larce was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Timbo. She leaves behind a legacy of a Godly woman and a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her husband, Milton Goodwin; her daughter Shelia Pruitt and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Alanna Drew, Jeremy Pruitt, and Erica Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Sadie, Emily, Barry, Katie, Nick, Trent, Kiersen, and Mason; brothers, Tracy, Ivan, and Jim, and sisters, Peggy and Patsy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Retha (Gammill) Brewer; sisters, Dona and Mona; brothers, Holland and Ronnie.
Visitation will begin prior to her service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Calvary Baptist Church Sanctuary in Timbo, Arkansas. Her services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Danny Robbins and Brother Ludene Hudspeth in charge of the services. Interment will take place at Smithee Cemetery in Pleasant Hill Community.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Brewer, Jason Goodwin, Norman Goodwin, Bill Snow, Jim Jongeling, and Larry Mader.

Loved Larce I can remember when she come to our home at Fifty Six. We always had a wonderful time Lynda and I playing with Sheila. I will always remember Larce' s beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Larce was such a sweet and kind Christian woman and will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing her. She was a good friend and my Mom and I both thought a lot of her. I'm sure my Mom and Dad along with all of your passed loved ones were waiting at Heaven's gates to welcome her home! Can you imagine the time their having praising our Lord! May God bless you all is my prayer.
