Janice House Holt Salsbury, age 57, of Mountain View, Arkansas, formerly of Eros, Louisiana, died July 13, 2014 in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was born in Mountain View, Arkansas on November 4, 1956 to Arvel and Gennetta Gammill House. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Landmark Nursing and Rehab in West Monroe, Louisiana where she worked for eleven years as a Nurse and weekend CNA supervisor. She was an instructor at the Delta Quachita Community College in West Monroe, Louisiana and a member of Vine Avenue Baptist Church in Mountain View.
Survivors are her husband of 21 years, Dalton Salsbury; daughter, Sandra Holt (Rick) Crome, Mountain View, AR; mother, Gennetta Wilcox of Mountain View, three sisters, Kathy (James) Adams, Camden, Brenda (Wayne) McGhee, Mountain View; Sharon (Lawson) Barnes, Mountain View; brother, Terry House, Mountain View; step-son Matt (Jenny) Salsbury, Seligman Missouri; three grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Brennan, and Bailey Barnes of Mountain View; step grand-children, Nathan, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Daniel, Katy, Jacob Salsbury, great grandchildren, Kayden Yielding and Kali Bratton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arvel House, grandparents V.O. & Verdia Goodman Gammill, and Newton & Florence Haggard House.
Funeral services will be July 16, 2014 at Roller Coffman Chapel, with Pastor Gary Ragland officiating. Burial will follow in Farris Cemetery.
Pallbearers; Matt Salsbury, Brennan Barnes, Cody House, Bradley Barnes, Jeffrey Reynolds, and Jason Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers; James Adams, Lawson Barnes, Wayne McGhee, Blaine Salsbury, Rick Crome, and Terry House.
A small part of Mtn View has slipped a place we can only visit in our dreams.
You will be remembered , and dearly missed.
