Albert Michael Carvalho, 73, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away June 1, 2012. He was born November 13, 1938 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Albert was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Navy. Albert was an electronics technician for many years. Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce Carvalho of Mountain View, Arkansas; sons Albert Michael Carvalho, Jr. and wife Ann of Mountain View, Arkansas; step-son, John Wayne Dilling of Robertsdale, Alabama; daughters Juanita Michelle Kuwik and husband Joe of Buffalo, New York; step-daughter, Johnette Michelle Shimp and husband George of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; brother, Richard Carvalho of San Leandro, California; sister, Agnes Bakunas of Manasquan, New Jersey; half-sister, Winona Gonzales; grandchildren Albert Michael Carvalho III, Angel Marie Pecky, Cassandra Carvalho, William John Pecky, Sarah Megan Tisbury, Hollie Elizabeth Tisbury, Erin Nicole Tisbury, and LeighAnn Dilling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Sarah Carvalho; sisters, Mary Coriell, Connie Davis, Gloria Travins; brothers, Marion Carvalho and Edward Carvalho.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, June 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11 a.m., at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Mountain View, Arkansas. Fr. John Lewandowski will be officiating.

Pallbearers are Rick Wilcox, Rusty Frazier, Joe Wyatt, Shawn Downs, Richard Shaffer, and Joseph Knight. Honorary pallbearers are Chasta Balintine and Dustin Balintine.

I did not know Al, but do remember seeing him in church. Al and I are the same age. Life is fleeting.....I wish that it had granted me the opportunity to know him. May our Eternal Father grant Al eternal peace with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
