Haskell Leroy Passmore, age 83 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, June 8th, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall. He was born in Thola, Arkansas on January 3rd, 1935 to Arlis Passmore and Pearl George Passmore.
Leroy was a hard working man who worked and cared for his family well. He worked all of his life in the Timber Industry as a logger. He absolutely loved to cut trees. He enjoyed sitting at Harps and visiting with all of his friends and neighbors who stopped by. You could often find him sneaking in a nap while sitting in the parking lot of Linda's Closet. His presence will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Jerry Passmore (Tina), Joe Passmore (Sherri), Jeff Passmore (Vonda), all of Marshall, Teresa Rockhold (Brent) of Arbela, MO, Debbie House of Gassville and Tina Garrison (Leroy) of Memphis, MO; grandchildren, Sam Ward (Alicia), Julie Hardin, Hunter Passmore (Wendy), Eden Passmore, Billy Yarbrough, Christopher Yarbrough, Joshua DaVolt, Vince Rockhold, Calvin House (Diana), Mandy Newton and Paula House; twenty three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Butler (Gilbert) of Troy, MO, Consada Arnold of Sedalia, MO, Jane Potts (Bill) of Bella Vista, Katy Bibb of St. Louis, MO and Rita Welker of Winsfield, MO; sisters-in-law, Dovie Passmore of Kahoka, MO and Floella Passmore of North Little Rock; and many other family, Harps buddies and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Leroy is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Dorothy Horton Passmore; grandson, Jason Rockhold; great-great grandchild, Arora Newton; sisters, Mollie Branscum and Nita Gilbert; brothers, Riley Passmore and Glen Allen Passmore; and brothers-in-law, Jay Arnold, JR. Branscum and Willis Gilbert.
Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at Rock Creek Cemetery in Harriet, Arkansas.
Joe, Jerry , Jeff, So sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful and funny Man. He always treated me like a daughter when running around in Kahoka mo GOD BLESS YOU GUYS.
