John Henry Brodie, age 90 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born in Neosho, Missouri on March 18th, 1928 to Grover Brodie and Linda Berry Brodie.
John was a veteran of the United States Army. He served our country from 1948 until 1952. He retired with over 20 years of service from Teamsters, Local 41 and Consolidated Freightway Trucking Company.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Houghton Brodie; two daughters, Cynthia Grantham and husband Matthew of Blue Springs, MO and Sandra Brodie of Eureka Springs; and one grandchild, Marine Lance Corporal Paige Grantham of Camp Pendleton, CA. His parents preceded John in death.
Graveside services for John will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at Canaan Cemetery near Marshall. Visitation will be 10:00 AM preceding the service and will be held at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall.
