Lonnie David Kelley

of Leslie, AR

June 6, 1940 - April 13, 2018

Lonnie David Kelley, age 77 of Leslie, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 13th, 2018 at Conway Regional in Conway, Arkansas. He was born in Tie Plant, Arkansas on June 6th, 1940 to William Leonard Kelley and Grace Grimsley Kelley.

David most enjoyed being a dad and a Peepaw. He was an avid animal lover and loved being outdoors. He was the kind of man anyone would have been lucky to have known. His willingness to help others always came before anything he would do for himself. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it. David touched the hearts of more people than he ever knew; and had the best sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bobbye Jewel Springer Kelley; son, Donald Ray Kelley; grandsons, Mark Blazer II and Andrew Bailus Kelley; brothers, Floyd Kelley, his wife and their two children, Johnny Kelley and Donald Kelley; and sister, Ella Mae Kelley.

Survivors include his children, Virginia Darby, Linda Gorham-Kelley, Kathy Kelley, Loni Kelley and David Kelley; grandchildren, Lonnie Gilbert Kelley, Victoria Williams, Crystal Herndon, Brad Kelley, Christy Kelley, Ty Kelley, Kathy Elmore, Dustin Lewis, Austin Kelley, Lindsey Kelley, Jaymee Kelley, Angel Kelley and Hayselyn Jade; siblings, William Harold Kelley, Rosie Lee Bearden, Grace Laverne Williford and Loyd Kelley; and a host of great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Graveside services for David will be 3:00 PM Monday, April 16th, 2018 at Orion Cemetery, Hwy 64, Stagecoach Road, Sheridan, Arkansas in Grant County. Visitation will be 9:00 till 11:00 AM Monday, April 16th, 2018 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Kelley, David Kelley, Lance Hutchins, Tyler Kelley, Bill Kelley, Dustin Lewis, Austin Kelley, Dustin Kelley, Brad Kelley, Steven Bains, Steve Kearns, Freddie Sutterfield and Jerry Stambaugh. Because David loved his pets so much, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help with their care.

I'm at a loss for words Peepa imagine that! Heaven is truly blessed to have this man. He was the most generiousman I know. ALWAYS willing to help, he pulled more trailers full of girls than most cowboys have pulled with horses! Made what ever you needed, and always with a smile on. We will miss you. RIP
