I remember Monte from high schoo,l a guy that did smile a lot. He laughed a lot too I know this because we'd sit in the hallway right by the library.and tell goofy stories im so sorry that he passed away my deepest sympathy to the family. May the you all remember the good times all of you shared with him. Peace be with you all.
Monte, I cannot stop seeing you on my doorstep the morning of our class trip back in 1982. You were standing there in the dark with a couple of bags of snacks. You told me you had enough for us to share and you weren't going on the trip without me. Thank you for an amazing trip. Thank you for the Arkansas Razorback game we went to and enjoyed together. And by the way I still have the yellow Tonka truck you bought for Josh when he was just a little guy. I'm saving it so he can pass it down to his little one. I love you Monte. Save me a seat and a snack for when I meet you on the other side..
Your cuz and classmate
I am so sad to hear of Monte's passing. I hadn't seen him in a long time, but I remember his sweet, kind face. I remember as a kid sitting next to him at grandma's house next to the wood stove and listening to him talk, enjoying his company, and being glad he was my cousin that was so nice to be around. My thoughts are with Renee and Aunt Shirley and I pray God will bring you comfort at this time.
Sorry to hear this news RIP Birdman

Monte was a sweet person and always had a smile on this face.
Sorry for your loss.
I'll always cherish our childhood memory's..,Love you my sweet cousin.
The first time I saw Monty he was about three years old. I was watching him while his dad worked in a field below the barn. We were sitting in the grass when I lay back on that nice spring day and was enjoying the breeze. Monty said, "Uncle Carson, I;m going to hit you in the nose. He had a smile on his face, so I ignored the threat. Monty popped me square in the nose with a pretty good punch for a three year old. I jerked him up and spanked his bottom. Clifton Ragland was walking down the path toward up, saw the whole thing and was laughing. The next time I saw him, he must have been 5 or 6. He walked with me, holding my hand and called me "my old buddy, Carson". What a great kid!
Monte prayers my friend may you rest in peace. I will always remember your smile.
A sweet guy with a smile for everyone. Prayers of comfort for family.
You will be missed.
