Almer Nell Baker, age 65 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, July 8th, 2016 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born in Dennard, Arkansas on June 29th, 1951 to Elmer McEntire and Velma (Morgan) McEntire.

Nell was a veteran of the United States Army. She attended the St. Joe Church of Christ. Nell always put God before anything else in her life. She was a wonderful caregiver and spent many years working as a certified nursing assistant. She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed crocheting and working in her yard and flower beds. Nell loved the Christmas season and gathering with family and friends to celebrate. Her children and grandchildren were her life, second only to her love for God.

Nell is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Lee Baker Sr. who passed away in 2004; sisters, Mary Lee Storey and Ruthie Craig; and one niece, Trella Storey.

Survivors include her children, Darla (Kenny) Malone of Belefonte, Darrell Gene (Tonya) Dean of Everton, Jennifer (Shawn) Campbell of Lampe, MO, Raymond L. Baker Jr. of Fort Smith and Kenneth (Tammy) Baker of Siloam Springs; grandchildren, Jessy Campbell, Shelby Loggins, Makayla Campbell, Brady Jernigan, Darrell Dean III, Jonathan Malone, LaTisha Malone, Teresa Baker, Cheyenne Baker, McKenzie Gillet and Misty Herd; one great grandchild, Nelson Eugene Ross Campbell; two sisters, Jeannie Sevier of Yellville and Judy McEntire of Fayetteville; brothers, Kelley McEntire of Fayetteville, Michael McEntire of St. Joe and Morgan (Susan) McEntire of Western Grove; niece, Kristen Arnold; and many other family members who will also mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Nell will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July13th, 2016 at the St. Joe Church of Christ with Jerry Willis officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 12th, 2016 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will be in Love Cemetery in St. Joe. Pallbearers will be Jessy Campbell, Shelby Loggins, Makayla Campbell, Brady Jernigan, Darrell Dean III, Jonathan Malone and Chris McEntire. Honorary pallbearers will be the church family at St. Joe Church of Christ, Regina Knapp, the nursing staff at Hospice of the Hills including Tonya Jones and Angie Ward, and Dr. Stacey Armstrong.

My thoughts are with you all during your time of grief. I've known Nell for many years and I remember fondly the days when I used to ride back and forth to work with her. Nell has always been good to people and will be sorely missed. God bless you all.
