Eddie Ray Hattle, age 88 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, May 9th, 2016 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. He was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on January 5th, 1928 to Carroll Edward Hattle and Ruth Susie (Bell) Hattle.

Eddie was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years as a salesman in the Hardware and Builders Supply industry. Eddie was an excellent knife maker.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Christine Provost; and one brother, Dean Hattle. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Eva Jean (Scoggin) Hattle; one niece, Susan Newman of West Memphis, her two children and two grandchildren; one nephew, Hugh Provost of Newport, his two daughters and one granddaughter; and many friends who will also mourn his passing.

All services will be private.

Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
