Ben H. Garrison, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Prue, Oklahoma on July 19, 1937 to Ben Garrison and Claudie (West) Garrison.
Ben was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years as a machinist at Flex Steel. Ben was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in St. Joe, Arkansas.
His parents; one infant daughter, Tina Marie Garrison; three brothers, Howard, Paul and Oliver Garrison; and one sister, Wilma Garrison, precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mae (Williams) Garrison of the home; three sons, Bennie Garrison and wife Robin of Marshall, Randall Garrison and wife Andrea, also of Marshall and Benny James Garrison of Little Rock; one grandchild and one grandchild on the way; one sister, Velma Bayler of Tulsa, OK; and two brothers, Bill Garrison of Napa, CA and Kenneth Garrison of Tulsa, OK.
Funeral services for Ben will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 01, 2014 at Lighthouse Apostolic Church in St. Joe, Arkansas with Bro. Rob Grinder officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Horton, Kenneth Daniels, Kurt Brightwell, James Craig Sanders, Terrance DePriest and Kenneth Terherst. Honorary pallbearer will be Zachary Lawrence.
Although I have only been in the family for 8 months. I was able to see that you cared deeply for your family, even until the very end. Words can never express just how much you are missed. Glad that was blessed to spend the I had with you. It brings great comfort knowing that you had a walk with God. Now you are at rest with no more pain.
I love you Bro Ben. I will really miss you. I'm glad I know for sure where you are.
