Hazel Frances Byrum, age 93 of Little Rock, Arkansas died Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas on January 8, 1925, to her late parents, Andrew and Katy Stringfellow. Hazel was a past member of Salem Methodist Church in Conway. She was a charter member of Rebekah Circle, secretary, treasurer and chairperson with the Circle. In addition, she was a member of the Eastern Star having served as treasurer, Worthy Matron, Mother Advisor in Rainbow for Girls, was awarded Grand Cross of Colors and served as secretary in Bendemeer Caldron for more than 17 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claudis Byrum; two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include her sister Ruth West; two daughters, Patricia Hanard (Marcel) and Virginia Koch (Gary); three grandsons, Marcel Hanard (Lisa), Brendan Hanard and Dominic Hanard (Adrienne); one granddaughter, Samantha Hanard of Conway, AR; three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Roller Drummond, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR with Reverend Jason D. Harter officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
