Mr. Joe Harvey Tolbert I, age 69, of Little Rock, AR., passed away November 8, 2017. He was born January 15, 1948 in Little Rock to Charles Joseph Copher and Sue Ella Hoover. Joe spent many years working for Arkla Gas Company and was a Naval veteran.
Joe is survived by 2 sons, Joe H. Tolbert II (Rhonda) of Little Rock, John Tolbert (Kim) of Benton; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Tolbert. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Brenda Cooper.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR 72120. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/drummond

I got to know Joe when I came to the leakage dept. at Arkla Gas Co. A very good and dependable coworker. I wish there were more like him. He will be missed. In times like these, we have to reach out to the solid Rock of Jesus and hang on tight. I will be praying for you, family. God Bless. MG

Joe was a long time friend, Joe and my late husband Homer Curd worked together for many years at Arkla and they hunted together, our families had many good memories here at the cabin. I kept up with Joe on facebook and will miss his many posts. Joe was a wonderful friend, and loved his family. He will be missed.
