Uncle Andy

Carol Lewallen-Poteet told me about her Uncle Andy for years. It was obvious she was very fond of him. When I finally met him, he was much more than I expected.
His personality was larger than life. He was bright, witty, with a smile that lit up the room. We shared a mutual love of genealogy and compared information on the Lewallen family back to Wales.
We visited the family cemetery in Arkansas, located markers and took many photos. My wife, Jeanne, and I will miss him very much – Louis Berger.

To all in the families of Andrea, Linda, David,&Tim.Was saddened to hear of Uncle Andy's passing, but so thankful he is with Christ &so many of others that have gone before him. He was&will continue to be such a special uncle, as well as Aunt Maxine who was a special aunt. I loved to hear his voice, especially at Christmas time over the phone when he would always call. Have so many memories of the family coming to Independence ,staying at our house, hearing their adventures of their many trips, and just enjoying ourselves. God gave him a long full life& he will certainly be missed. I wish we could make the trip for his service but Don has more not so good days that good ones. Know we send our love&prayers.
