George Robert ''Bob'' Toombs, 96, of Mabelvale went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was a WWII Veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years in management.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years Pearl Toombs; eight children George Jr., Mary, Patricia, John, Keith, Stewart, Michael, Robert; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
