Peggy Joyce Morehead, age 83, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. She was born August 16, 1932 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Charles Henry Brewer and Vada Fulcher Brewer. She retired from Little Rock School District as a library assistant. She was active in the Good Shepherd Retirement community and a faithful member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church for 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years Charles ''Leon'' Morehead and daughter Dana Morehead.
She is survived by her sons Richard Morehead (Dee Dee) of North Little Rock; Kenneth Morehead (Anna) of Benton; daughter Cherie Matthias of North Little Rock and two grandchildren Kelsey and Tyler Morehead.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.

So sorry for your loss. Peggy and Leon were sweet friends. We enjoyed going several Keenager Trips at GSFBC with them. We also sat in the pew in front of them. Lovely people. God bless you as you go through this difficult time.
