Ronald Wayne Nordman, Sr., 62, of Little Rock entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 surrounded by loving family and friends following a lengthy illness. Ronnie was born on March 21, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the son of Robert and Jean Nordman. He graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School where he played football and was a delegate to Arkansas Boy's State. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Nall's Memorial Baptist Church. After graduation from high school, he attended UALR and worked with his father as a carpenter. He joined the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in 1975 as a carpenter in District 6 Maintenance Headquarters, where he retired in 2004. He was a long-time member at Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock where he and his wife Martha Jane served for many years.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father; his sons, Ronald Wayne Nordman Jr. and William EuGene Nordman; and his mother-in-law, Shelba Webb. In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is survived by his mother, Jean Nordman of Little Rock; his sisters, Bobbie Hudson (Ronnie) and June Haynie (John) of Roland; his father-in-law, Cecil (Jessie) Webb; his sisters-in-law, Deborah Mayo of Chesterfield, MO and Diana Twisdale (LeRoy) of Cabot; his daughter-in-law, Annie Nordman; and his three grandchildren: Anthony, Lauren, and Harley Nordman of East End. In addition, ''Bunka Daddy'' is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of cousins.

Ronnie loved sports, hunting, and particularly the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorback football team.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Bingham Road Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Brown officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 2:00 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 11900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.

I just want to let you know that even though I can't be there physically, you are all in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Ronnie was such a sweetheart and loved by all.
