So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we get from God.

My first memories of Mrs Pettit date back decades,
mostly centered around South Second Street &
The First United Methodist Church.

First, she was mom to Bill & Sara, then she focused more
on The Pettit Agency. Later came golf and a life devoted
to remaining fit. Her first love & devotion was to
Kenneth, especially in his difficult latter years.

All said & done Frances was a force as a mate, mom &
friend & confidant to so many.

Be at peace leave now
Journey complete
Job well done
🙏

Mrs. Frances is the last of our Methodist Corning “ladies”. She was grace and beauty; full of love and goodness; the friend that every girl needs. For the past 46 years I have been so grateful to God to be able to call her my friend. Her fine example was one that influenced many young people as they grew in our church and in our town. Thank you God for the gift of this lady. I am certain that as she left this life...for eternal life...that she was indeed “ lifted up on eagle wings”. You will always be in my heart Frances Pettit. I love you.

Dear Family please accept my heartfelt Condolences for your recent loss. The Bible tells us at John 5:28,29-do not be amazed the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Please let Gods word the Bible be of comfort to you in the coming days ahead.
