Betty Jean Hale, age 81, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.
She was born May 25, 1936, in Shidler, Oklahoma, to Lilburn Ray and Mae Elaine Simmons Gassett. She was a member of the Mountain Home First Christian Church, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge. She and her husband, David Hale, owned and operated Hale's TV in Mountain Home for 36 years.
She is survived by a daughter: Dr. Tammy Tucker (Bryan Post): Bentonville; two sons: David (Linda) Hale: Mountain Home; and Earl Hale (Marsha Lane Foster): Rogers, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: David Hale.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to your local hospice.
I just read that Betty died. I know it's been awhile.since she passed away. She came to a family reunion maybe 25 years ago. I wish we would have kept in touch. Betty was a sweet lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she would come into First National Bank in Mtn. Home when I worked there. Prayers to the family.
