Janie Asbridge., age 84, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in Gassville. She was born August 31, 1932 in Lake County, Tennessee to Albert Roy and Mary Alice (McMurray) Patterson.
Janie loved her family and most enjoyed preparing large meals for them during family gatherings. She was an avid dog lover, enjoyed gardening, particularly flowers and dancing, particularly the two-step.
Janie is survived by three sons: Dennis Bailey of Gassville, Donald (Sue) Bailey of Mountain Home and Jimmy (Amparo) Bailey of Jackson, Tennessee, one daughter, Janice Morgan of Mountain Home, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Sue (Bobby) Bryant of Mountain Home and one brother, Kenny (Kathy) Patterson of Finley, Tennessee. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Linda Sailor, Dottie Fenney and Norma Enders and one brother, Ed Patterson.
Interment services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
