Eleanor ''Becky'' Zimmer, 79 went home to be with the Lord, early Wednesday morning August 9, 2017. She was born September 7, 1937 to Edward and Ann (Merz) Beckman in Saint Louis Mo.
She taught school and worked as a teacher's aide for over 30 years. Eleanor Becky and Jon Zimmer were married October 24, 1959 in Bennett Iowa.
Becky was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She either played the organ or led the choir. She also enjoyed baking and cooking.
Becky Zimmer is survived by her husband, Jon Zimmer of Henderson, son, David (Karla) Zimmer, of Henderson, five grand children: Shawna Gale, Brandon Pollack, Chase and Kameron Cooper, and Tyler Trigg, 2 Great-grand-children, Brantley Gale and Ruby Cooper.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ann Beckman, her brother, Ed Beckman and daughter Pamela (Zimmer) Trigg.
