Mr. Arthur John Gregory, 92 of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Thursday on June 22, 2017. He was born February 8, 1925 in Chicago Illinois to John and Martha (Spiker) Gregory.

Mr. Gregory served in WWII on the Birmingham and received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in Pacific action. In 1955 he married Clyra V. Deck in Riverside, Illinois. They retired to Mountain Home in 2003. Together they loved camping, rock hunting, and traveling. Their favorite trip was a seven week trip to Alaska on the Alcan Highway.

Mr. Arthur Gregory is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Clyra (Kay) Gregory. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Also surviving is a special family, the Ryan's of Villa Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, and many good friends.

Special thanks to his caring and helpful neighbors and dearest friends, Patrick and Mary Parker who were always there to love and help. Also to his very kind caregiver Cheyanna, who was patient and caring during his final days.
