Mrs. Cecilia V. Renz Kellogg, age 103 of Mountain Home passed away March 30, 2017 in Gassville. She was born in Lake Village, AR on Oct. 20, 1913, the middle of 12 children. She married her husband of 57 years, James B. Kellogg in McGehee, AR, on December 26, 1931. During their life- time the family lived in several different locations, finally settling in Houston, Texas. While in Houston Cecilia worked for the U.S. Postal service, retiring after 28 years of service. After the death of her husband she moved to Mountain Home. She enjoyed being around her family, she belonged to several organizations, enjoyed crocheting and tending her flowers. She was a devout Christian and attended church regularly. She is survived by her daughter, Ann K. Silva (Mickey), one sister, Louise R. Lovett (Tom), Jacksonville, AR; Grandchildren Alan Silva (Kim), Christine Roschli (Brian), Jay Kellogg (Dana); Therese Kellogg, Richard Kellogg, Beatrice Dorsett (Steve); 7 great grandchildren, Kyle, Drew, Alex, Evan, Mason, Victoria and Anissa; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, 10 siblings and their spouses, her son, James Richard, one grandson, Keith Silva and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Home from 9 until 9:45 AM on Monday, April 3, 2017. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Norbert Rappold, celebrant. Burial will be private in McGehee, AR.
