Harvey Edward Beaver, age 85, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in Mountain Home. He was born July 14, 1931 in Loyal, Wisconsin to Philip and Anna Helen (Platten) Beaver. In 1954, he married Anna Mae Troy in Dubuque, Iowa.
Harvey was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, worked for Rockwell International Aerospace Industry for 30 years, was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus and a member of St Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He had been a resident of the Twin Lakes region since 1992.
Harvey is survived by his sons, Steven and James, both of California, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by siblings: Gerald, Jerome, Raymond, Kenneth, Paul and Mary, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Anna, and his son, Harvey II, also by his brothers: Anthony and Peter and his sisters: Esther and Marjorie.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, at St Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold, Celebrant. It was always such a pleasure to visit with Harvey and Ann when they would come out to California to see their son Jim and his family, Katie, Audrey, and Aidan. They were both awesome people who will be greatly missed. Harvey was one of a kind. We offer our sincere condolences to the entire Beaver family.

We have known Harvey for 16 years as our neighbor and fellow perishnor. We would be in the back of the church talking to see how everything was going. He sure will be missed.
