Billy West, age 83, of Mountain Home, Arkansas and formerly of Bono, Arkansas, passed into eternity Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Mountain Home. He was born February 1, 1934 in Bunny, Arkansas to Horace and Minnie (White) West.
Billy was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He pursued a career as a carpenter, being skilled at reading blueprints.
Billy is survived by his children: son, Nickey West of Mountain Home, Arkansas and daughter, Vickie Miramontes of Rockford, Illinois. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Darlene Brito and Debra Simpson, both of Rockford, Illinois and a brother, Robbie West of Ward, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lillian, a son, Ricky, two brothers and two sisters.
