April 15, 1955 - November 28, 2016

Pamela S. (Sliger) Sloan passed away Monday, November 28 surrounded by family at her home near Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 61 after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Paul R. Sloan; Parents-Garnett & Iris (Wilson) Sliger of Houston, MO; Sisters-Teresa (Sliger) Franklin & husband Terry of Lebanon, MO; Brenda (Sliger) Gentry & husband Gary of Houston, MO. Daughter-Brandy (Hinton) Mullins & husband Tommy of Conway, AR; Sons-Scott Sloan & wife Lisa of Springfield, MO; Andy Sloan & wife Donna of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren and a host of other family, church family and personal friends. Her brother Steve W. Sliger and wife Wendy preceded her in death as did her sister-in-law, Paulette (Sloan) Woolsey. Pam and Paul loved to travel all over the country in their RV and have been in 48 states and a lot of Canada and Mexico. They especially loved Alaska but the Ozarks was always home. She was devoted to her family and was very talented with crafts, crocheting, sewing and she made so many things for so many people. But her number one devotion was to God and Christian living principles, putting others before herself. Visitation is at Roller Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday evening. Funeral on Saturday Dec. 3 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home at 1:00 PM in Springfield, MO. Interment will follow at Robberson Prairie Cemetery in Greene County, MO near Springfield.

Paul you are in my prayers. Pam will be greatly missed. Her faith was strong, her smile warm and welcoming. Pam always made people feel welcomed, I doubt she ever met a stranger. As long as people remember her and talk about her she will never be truly gone.
