Shirley Marie Pontillo age 69, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016, in Mountain Home. She was born August 3, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Raymond and Catherine (Krause) Bernard.
Mrs. Pontillo is survived by her sister, Joan Novak of Alabama, three nephews: Robert (Michelle) Novak, Raymond (Tonya) Novak and Thomas Bedran, one niece: Diane Janik, thirteen great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nephews, and her eight fur-babies.. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Frank.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016, at Acacia Park Cemetery in Norridge, Illinois.

Shirley, you are going to be missed so much. I can't believe that we talked just three days ago. You called me to find out if the hurricane Hermine hit us here. And it did. You sounded great.
And then a call from Cousin Pam about you passing on. What a shock. God Bless. My deepest sympathy to your family.
