O.C. Simpson, age 82, of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, in Norfork. He was born October 21, 1933, in Norfork to Thomas and Mary (Small) Simpson.
Mr. Simpson married Lela Belle Stowers December 31, 1956, in Melbourne, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army. He retired from the Boiler Makers Union Local 83. He maintained the Norfork Cemetery for many years.
Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife Belle Simpson of Norfork, two sons Doug Simpson and wife Diane of Norfork and Gary Simpson and wife Sharon of Mulvane, Kansas, three sisters Louise Boyd of Bergman, Arkansas, Hattie Mae Wilson of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Imogene Stevens of Othello, Washington, two brothers Earl Simpson and wife Paulette of St. Louis, Missouri and Bobby Simpson and wife Carol of Gepp, Arkansas, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Edward ''Red'' Simpson, June Simpson, Vivian Storch and Dorothy Algaier.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home with Brother Ray Lamb officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Norfork Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Norfork Cemetery Fund.

So sorry to hear of O.C.'s passing. O.C. was a good friend, having known him all of my life, and staying with Grannie & Momo so many years, across the street from your house. He was a good man and he will be missed my so many. He is in a much, much better place now, and we will see him again someday. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to have not made the service, however my work schedule kept me from attending. Please accept my sincere apology.

I know these are trying times for you but just remember O C was an asset to the town of Norfork, serving the people as an Alderman. he would always lend a helping hand. I've known him since we were both eight years old.
