V. Florence Tucker, age 78 of Gainesville, MO passed away Friday January 8, 2016 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1937 in Mountain Home to G.T. Hensley and Nona Mae Fowler Hensley. She married Hiram J. Tucker on April 27, 1956 in Isabella, MO. They lived in Wichita, Kansas until 1995 when they retired to Gainesville, MO.
She is survived by her husband Hiram J.Tucker of Gainesville, MO; a son Terry (Susan) Tucker of Byhalia, Miss; a daughter Sherri (Brian) Haas of Caulfield, MO; 4 grandchildren: Jared (Andy) Haas, Bryce Haas, Sarah (Micah) Morehead and Joshua Tucker; a step granddaughter, Elizabeth (Josh) Rosa; 2 great grandchildren: Thomas Rosa and Dax Morehead; 2 sisters: Marvine Fouts and Ima Gene (Gerald) Lance, both of Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billie Dean Hensley.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:30 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral service conducted by Brother Ken Burton will follow at 2:30 at Roller. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Terry,Sherri and family's ,so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother. We were so Blessed to have Jr and Florence as our neighbors for 15 yrs in Wichita,Kansas. I know how you were Blessed to have such a wonderful mother. Yes I know she is going to be missed by all. Yes and how she loved all the grandchildren.
God Bless you all, my prayers will be for all of you. I have great peace knowing I will see her again some day.

Sherri and family so sorry to hear about Florence. Such fond memories of when you all would come down and visit with Aunt Nona & Uncle Golden and we would be at grandma Hensleys. This is a great loss to our family!! Aunt Florence is going to missed by many!! I remember wonderful memories as a child and adult! I'm glad I got to see you over christmas and I will always remember the smile on your face! I love you Aunt Florence!
