Esther was woman with a mind of her own, a good sense of humor, a compassion for children (her own and everyone else's) and a love for animals of all types; a spirit of care she managed to instill in her offspring. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting, playing card games, cooking and sharing her recipes and knowledge of cooking with others. There was never a time when she and her husband couldn't find room at their table to feed one or even several more family members, friends or acquaintances. She lived a full life and will be missed by her family and friends in Arkansas, Ohio, Nevada, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Alabama.
A private memorial service will be held on Thanksgiving Day.
