Leo A. ''Lee'' Bruce was born May 11, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to George T. and Ruth (Murray) Bruce. He passed away on November 15, 2015 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Leo married Edith (Bartlett) Bruce on July 12, 1942 and, at the time of her death in 2014, they had been married 71 years. Lee retired from Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan in 1979. They retired to Ludington, Michigan and later to Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Mr. Bruce is survived by one son, William A. Bruce of Shelby Township, Michigan; daughter-in law, Cathy Bruce of Mountain Home, Arkansas, five grandsons, all of Michigan, two step-grandsons, five great grandchildren and two step great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edith and three sons: David L., Robert J. and Jack C.
Mr. Bruce requested no visitation or local funeral service. Interment will be private at a later date in Michigan. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

What a sweet,sweet man. A blessing to be around. He is with his beloved Edith, has crystal clear sight, and walking the streets of gold. Prayers go out to his family.

The world has lost a true gentleman. We had the privilege of knowing Leo when he was a neighbor of my mother's in Independent Living. He always had a smile and a LifeSaver for everyone he met. He will be missed!
