Bethel Pickell, age 71, of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Norfork. She was born September 16, 1942 in Norfork, Arkansas to Corbie and Willie (Hamilton) Henderson.
Bethel married Dwaine Pickell January 23, 1999 in Norfork, Arkansas. She worked as a waitress at the Coffee Cup Restaurant. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.
Bethel is survived by her mother: Willie Henderson of Norfork, two sons: Delbert Ray Townsend and Jerry Don Townsend both of Campbell, Missouri, three daughters: Vickie Callahan and husband John of Sikeston, Missouri and LaVonda Rea and husband Rex and Angie Parnell all of Norfork, a brother: Bobby Henderson and wife Barbara of Norfork, thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, son: Danny Townsend, four brothers, a sister, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at Jordan Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Mathis officiating. A visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.

Alltho we are cousins I didn't become aquainted with you until I started attending Jordan Baptist Church. You will be missed very much.

My heart goes out to your family. I was so sorry to hear about Beth. I hope all the grand kids are old enough to really remember Beth because she was a great lady. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
