Billy Dean Bryant, age 83, of Nixa, Missouri formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 9, 1930 in McPherson, Arkansas to Clyde W. and Eva (Lonon) Bryant.
Mr. Bryant married Betty LaGrange January 13, 1952 in La Mesa, California. He was a Real Estate Developer in the Mountain Home area and served on the Board of Directors for North Arkansas Electric Coop for 35 years. He was a member of First Christian Church in Mountain Home. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Bryant is survived by a son: Jim Bryant and wife Kay of Nixa, Missouri, a daughter: Joyce Bryant of Nixa, Missouri, a grandson: Cecil Bryant and wife Tabitha, three great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren: Garry, Larry and Terry Osburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be Thursday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to any organization of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
