Seth Jake Kieffer, 91, of Weiner, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 22, 1926 to Jake and Matilda Ziegenhorn Kieffer in Weiner.

Mr. Kieffer was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a 32nd Degree Mason where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Weiner, a Shriner, a former member of the Lions Club and a Boy Scout leader. He was a farmer, born on the farm and died on the farm. He was also Pastor of Community of Christ for 18 years. Mr. Kieffer graduated from Weiner High School and later was a member of the Weiner Alumni Association. He gave Bibles to many people through the years.

Preceding Mr. Kieffer in death were his parents, Jake and Matilda Kieffer; brothers Marvin (Julia) Kieffer; Ryland (Ruth) Kieffer; Melvin (Rita, living) Kieffer.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Clara Terwilliger Kieffer; son, Michael (Linda) Kieffer of Weiner; daughters, Brenda (Tim) Gartman of Jonesboro and Myra (Conard) Sutherland of Yellville; grandchildren, Chad Kieffer, Britt Kieffer, Gabriel Gartman, Sandi Burrows, Joshua Sutherland and Caleb Sutherland; great grandchildren, Deighton Burrows and Kaden Burrows.

A Memorial Service will be held at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner, Saturday, August 11 at 2:00pm with John Sawyer, Jr. officiating.
