Brittney Taylor Welch, 24, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, August 3rd, 2018. She was born September 23, 1993, in Blytheville to Larry Welch & Tammy Carol Welch.
Brittney was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and worked as a waitress. She was an artist, enjoyed fishing, helping people, and making people laugh.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Carol Welch, and a grandfather, Cecil Towery.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Larry & Rena Welch; two brothers, Todd Bryant Welch and Nicholas Heath Welch; step-sister, Candace Dalton; grandparents, Don & Judy Pickard and Lurlene Towery, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her very much.
A funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington, Jonesboro, with Bob Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola at 2:00pm.
There will be a visitation Thursday 10:00-11:00am, at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Brittany and I became friends at a very young age. We went to school together and were classmates for a while, though she moved away and we sadly lost contact years ago. She was always such a kind soul, taking the time out of her day to make others smile. She was a great artist and had dreams and ambitions mush greater than this. I wish we had more time together to truly get to know each other. She will be dearly missed.

Brittany spent time in our home and was such an easy person to love. She was so artistic and we still have a painting she did for us.

Candace and family, I am So Sorry for your loss! I Loved Brittney so much! She was such a character!! I will miss her Beautiful Smile!! My kids used to beg to go to CiCi’s to see her when she wirked there years ago! We will sll miss her, and are saddened to hear of her passing.

My wife & I did not know Brittney, but we regret the sorrow you feel. We’ve grieved the loss of sons who were a little younger than Brittney, and I’m sure it doesn’t feel so right now, but we can tell you that as time passes you will be able to remember more of the good times and dwell less on your loss. We found that each person grieves in a different way and at different times, so we encourage each of you to allow for those differences in your families.
We are of the Christian faith and we dealt with our pain based on our belief that God is still sovereign even when we don’t understand tragedy. May you find comfort as you walk through this “valley of the shadow of death” and may friends share their good memories of Brittney with you
