Lora Mae Hitt, 60, of Bay, passed away June 30, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born June 20, 1958 in Jonesboro. She worked for Rose Skilcare Nursing Center and was a member of the Trumann Church of God.
Lora was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Eugene and Nelda Bethel Barber; two brothers, Gene Barber and Herman Barber; and two sisters, Cathy Hendrix and Joann Koster.
Lora is survived by her daughters, Heather (Lonnie) Whitaker and Brigett (Kevin) Hall; grandchildren, Austin Whitaker, Breanna Whitaker, Emma Whitaker, Jordan Hall and Abby Hall; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Barber and Jimmy Barber; two sisters, Patricia Forehand and Debbie Cobb; and the children's father, Cecil Daniel.
Services will be 10 am Thursday at the Trumann Church of God. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Sis i don't know where to begin. I miss you so much and will think of you always. You will always be remembered and i will remember you healthy and laughing and you spending time with me and my kids. Tell mama and our sister and brothers up there i love the and for all of y'all to watch over us. I love and miss you sis Lora Mae. Love your sis debb debb as you would say.

Laura was an amazing person with a great personality who always made us laugh. I am so thankful she has two wonderful daughters to carry on her Legacy. She will be dearly missed we are here for you if you need anything!

I am so so sorry for your loss ! I have know her for so long and I loved her . She would always say I love you and always had nice things to say . I will miss her humor. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers . I know she and mom are having a blast on Heaven . God Bless You All.
