Betty Puckett, 76, of Bono, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born November 2, 1941, in Bono to Robert & Ruby (McGowan) Minton. She had worked at DuPont and attended Oak Ridge Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Elmer Minton, and one sister, Marvell Slocum.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Lanny) Shirley, Rhonda (Rob) Ingram, and Holly (Gary) Bennett; one sister, Myrtle Hendrix, seven grandchildren, Brett Shirley, Kristin (Blake) Price, Tyler Ingram Reed, Caitlyn Blalock, Emily Blalock, Taylor Blalock, and Maggie Blalock; and two great-grandchildren, Ridge Reed and Rory Reed.
There will be a graveside funeral service at Herman Cemetery Tuesday, May 15, at 2:00pm, with Randy Stimach officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lanny Shirley, Rob Ingram, Gary Bennett, Brett Shirley, Blake Price and Dean Jones.
Following the graveside service, the family will be receiving guests at Ms. Betty's home.
In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be made to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews Ave., Jonesboro, AR 72401.
