So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4
“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
God must have wanted a very special Angel with freckles and with a big smile since He took Skippy Home to His Heavenly Garden of Paradise. We know there were so many Family and Friends waiting for her and She's happy and healthy again now. Linda and Skippy were such good friends and even though I was younger than them by a few years, Skippy treated me like I was Her little Sister, too. I loved her like a Sister as well as Linda did.
Thanks, Skippy for always being nice to me and treating me like a little sis. Linda is very sad as we all are, but know you are happy and healthy now. We love you!

"Skippy" (Flanigan) Hughes will be sorely missed by everybody that knew her. We went to school together at Norfork School in Norfork, Arkansas and she was always such a great friend and so much fun to be around. She could have been called the Bell of the Ball cause she was always cheerful, good to people and was there when she was needed. We were cheerleaders together and some of the greatest days of our lives. Lots of fun, and I spent many nights with her and her parents. They all welcomed me and treated me as a daughter. Those were great times and I know God got a great Angel when She got to Her home in Paradise. We all loved You Skippy and will miss you. Linda (King) Strate
I’m saddened by the loss of Mrs. Hughes. She was an amazing teacher and a great listener. I still go visit her even after graduating high school and she was always happy to see me I am so glad that I had the privilege of having u as a teacher and as a friend. You will be greatly missed and loved by many.
Love and will miss you deeply
I will always remember Aunt Skippy as the little red headed girl covered with more freckles than even I had with my red hair. We were only a year apart in age and had some fun times playing before my parents divorced. I was glad I was able to reconnect with her even though the distance between our homes was so far not allowing us to become close as we got older. I will always think of her fondly.
I grew up and was around Skip and Harold and Tony all my life. They have been a part of my family since I was young. They do not get any better than skip. She will be definitely missed.
Grew to love this lady! I'm sure she is laughing with my dad and Plug now!
I am devastated by the loss of Mrs. Hughes. She was a teacher of mine when I was in jr high. She was always more than my teacher, she was my Friend. I sat many of days after I graduated high school with skip and we talked about life... I have said may of times how I miss her and would love to see her soon. She will always be loved and missed. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. God gained another Angel. I also send my love and prayers to her family.
Love, Shawna (Douglas) Nunez
I attended high school with Skippy at Norfork School. She was such a nice person and had many friends here. She was always cheerful and everyone loved her. It has been many years but I still remember her as a good friend.
Best wishes to the family

Tony,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Thinking of her brought back many good memories of our baseball playing days with her and Harold and all of our parent's together watching all of us. A lot of good people and a lot of good times. She was a sweet lady and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
I taught with Skip from the beginning of my teacher career. She was my mentor and friend. She will be dearly missed.
