Evelyn Adams, 102, died Saturday, December 16, at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was born April 8, 1915, near Lorado to Ned and Girtie Swindle. She was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Adams; three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Glen and Phyllis Adams of Paragould, Russell and Nelda Adams of Bono; one sister, Wanda Parsley of Trumann; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 19, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Stan Adams and Rev. J.R. McElhannon officiating. Roller-Farmers Union is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
The family wishes to thank the employees of Greene Acres Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Evelyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund, in care of Glen Adams, 3202 Red Oak Drive, Paragould, AR 72450.
Our prayers our with your family st this time. Aunt Evelyn was OBE special lady, always enjoyed going to her house . I know she is having a great time in her new body with no more arthritis and any more problems. She lived her life with a Christ like example for all to see.
