Dona E. Holcomb, 82, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Craighead Nursing Center. She was born March 19, 1934, at Caraway to Earnest and Annie Pearl Jones Lucas. She had been a housewife and attended the Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. She loved her kids and grandkids dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Michael Holcomb; and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Hillard Holcomb; one son, Rick Holcomb; one daughter, Teresa Holcomb; grandchildren, Holly (John) Gibson, Paige Holcomb, and Sarah Holcomb; great-grandchildren, Kyland Holcomb, Madison Holcomb, Tyler Holcomb, Ethan Holcomb, Jonathan Gibson, Matt Gibson, and Bethany Gibson.
There will be a graveside service Wednesday, January 11, at 1:00pm at Pine Log Cemetery, with Terry Joe Kee officiating.
The family requests that lasting memorials be made to Children's Homes, Inc., 5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, AR 72450.

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Growing up next door, we were all like family through our childhood and I have lots of good, fun memories. Please know that through this difficult time that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
