Mrs. Doris Imogene Ivy, 82, of Harrisburg, passed away at her residence Saturday morning. She was born in Steele, Missouri July 20, 1934 to Otis M. and Hazel Bond. Mrs. Ivy was a member of Faith Tabernacle. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and was an accomplished seamstress.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Ivy; son, Ronnie Ivy; daughter-in-law, Theresa Ivy; brothers, Darrell Bond and Carroll Bond; and sister, Flora Holt.
Survivors include, two sons, Gary (Marilyn) Ivy of Jonesboro and Stephen (Mary) Ivy of Harrisburg; two daughters, Marshia (Rev. Rudy) Thrasher of Paragould and Judy (Mike) Brinkley of Mount Pleasant Tennessee; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Bond of Pekin, Illinois.
Chapel services will be Monday at 11:00am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Robinson and Rev. Rudy Thrasher officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers include Sherman Drum, Brian Carter, Matt Dixon, Ben Ball and Rick Domerese. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday at the funeral home from 6:00pm '''' 8:00pm.
