Frank Walter, Bufford, 93, of Trumann, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. He was born March 30, 1923 in Savannah, TN to the late Walter and Ida Mae (Wood) Bufford. Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Frank was called by God to preach His gospel and he did that to his last day. He served his congregations for more than 58 years. He loved his church family and his church family loved him. Frank was a World War II veteran who served in the African and Asian theaters. He was a proud American. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He worked for Singer Furniture and the Trumann School District. He was an avid Cardinals fan, loved fishing and most of all, witnessing for Jesus.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lettie Raymond; and two brothers, Clyde Bufford and Parker Bufford.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kathleen (Hall) Bufford; five sons, Frankie Ray (Charlotte) Bufford of Rogers, Stanley Eugene (Melanie) Bufford of Canton, GA, Robert Wayne Bufford and Timothy Lee Bufford, both of Trumann, and Matthew Lynn (Misti) Bufford of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ambrea (Nate) Holman, Jennifer Wells, Whitney (Josh) Barnes, Ryan Bufford, Matison Bufford and Alyssa Childress; great grandchildren, Abigail Wells, Carter Holman, Grant Holman, Allison Barnes, Ellie Terrell, and Jake Barnes; and a sister, Marie Hendrix.
Funeral services will be 6:30 pm Wednesday at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Trumann with Larry Loggins officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 pm until time of service.
Burial will be private at the Arkansas Veteran's Cemetery in Birdeye, AR.

Brother Frank was a very humble man and an inspiration to me and my family. He displayed to me Christian love and was part of Gods plan to get me involved @ Pleasant Hill. He encouraged me to sing and become song leader there.Thank you for the encouragement and for always preaching Gods plan of salvation Brother Frank !

Tim: What a wonderful Dad you had. I can just imagine the big smile on his face as he walks thru heaven on streets of gold. I am sorry for the loss and hurt that comes to you and others left here, but Praise the Lord he made a way for us to see out loved ones again.
