William ''David'' Gardner, 57, of Weiner, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born May 4, 1958 in Jonesboro. He was a farmer and a member of Weiner Christian Church.
David is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Gardner; a brother, Kenny Gardner; and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Gardner; his mother, Leona Mead Gardner; two brothers, Todd (Daria) Gardner of Greers Ferry and Kyle (Kathy) Gardner of Jonesboro; a sister in law, Carol Gardner; two nephews; three nieces; two great nieces; one great nephew; and two precious furry babies, Pugs and Sis.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.
Services will be 10 am Thursday at Weiner Christian Church with Dan Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Roger Bradley, David Schwartz, Leo Bausvisita, Tony Sullins, Kat Sullins, Ron Long and Lyndon Cook will serve as pallbearers.
Bill and Joanna Freeman, Bobby and Ruthie Linn, Jeff Goza, Issiac Campbell and Butch Hime will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Lasting memorials can be made to either the Oak Grove Cemetery or the Weiner Fire Department.
David was a very kind and gentle man. I am so grateful to have met him.
I am so sorry for your loss. David was a great person and will be greatly missed.

I don't think I have ever found a man that measured up to my Daddy until I met David & thank the Lord he married my Best friend!!! I'm so thankful he is my Angel in Heaven now and out of pain!!!
