I did not know Miss Birdie for very long, but in the short time I was around her, I loved her. She was such a sweet lady, she would come over to our house and sing gospel songs with us and her little face would just light up with God's love.

I know in my heart, that Jesus welcomed her with open arms into heaven and even though we will miss her, I know she has gone to be happy and be with the Lord.

I will miss you, Aunt Birdie. I am very sad that this world has lost an Angel, but Heaven has gained a new one. Give Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Linda, Beverly and Uncle Harvey big hugs for me. Tell them that I love and miss them so very much. I am so thankful I was able to see you back in November. I was fortunate to be able to enjoy some KFC chicken with you; it was a small token of all the times you cooked for me when I was younger. I remember, as a child, I couldn’t wait to come see you and eat some of your wonderful cooking. You made some wonderful pies, but my very favorite thing I loved the most was your homemade sweet lemonade. It was the best on those hot July days; when all your nephews were young and looking up to you as we gathered for the family reunions. I enjoyed fishing with you at Red Bluff Lake in Texas; we caught a lot of fish and made some wonderful memories. I especially enjoyed seeing your beautiful smiling face as you caught them big stripper bass, it was priceless. Being the first one to see the streakers running across the field at graduation was another priceless moment I will never forget. (That one still makes me smile) I will miss how you always smelt so good. I’ll never forget, every time you gave me a hug you always smelled amazing. The kisses on the cheek, when I was young I hated them; when I got older I expected them, and now that you are gone I will miss them. Thanks for always coming and seeing me when you came to New Mexico. I know you came to see your children, but you always made time to come see me and my family; as if I was your son and loving my girls as your own too. I will miss hearing you laugh, it was a beautiful thing. Thank you for being an Aunt who loved the Lord. You were a great example to me that I will never forget. Thank you for the wonderful Christmas in 2011 in New Mexico. It was so sweet having you at our house and visiting with you that holiday season; my family will never forget it. Hugs and kisses to a precious, wonderful Aunt, who has made a lasting impression forever etched on my heart for the rest of my life. I will miss you. I love you Aunt Birdie! - Your Nephew Jason Wagner and Family (Heather, Rachel, & Leah)

To a very special friend and neighbor that I dearly love and will truly miss . I will always cherish the memories of the last 7 years we had together working out in the yards sitting outside ,talking ,walking and sharing meals together. I always enjoyed hearing you sing with that angel voice you had . you will forever and always be in my heart .you were beautiful inside and out and one of a kind. you had a golden heart and could always put a smile on my face with just a hug or by saying I love you. I hope the time I spent with you was a comfort and I know you knew I was there and my life has been blessed to have known you as a dear friend. now I know you can spread your wings and you will be dancing in the sky and singing in the choir .we have one special guardian angel who will always be watching over us. God bless my special friend Birdie. your friend Edith

To a very special Aunt that I will miss and dearly loved. I enjoyed all the time that I got to spend with you . I will miss our singing together that we got to do daily when we could. I know you knew that I was there to comfort you and help all I could. I will cherish all the memories , the walks and talks but the most memories will be when we smiled and laughed together and you always telling me you loved me. You had the best heart of anyone I have ever known and will truly be missed. I know God has another angel and I will never forget all the memories.
