John C. Campbell Jr.,52, of Jonesboro died Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home. John was born March 8, 1963 in Indianola, Mississippi to John C. Sr. and Lena Donley Campbell.
He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and sports
Preceding him in death was his father John C Campbell, Sr. and grandparents, Roy and Elsie Divine and Walter and Maebell Campbell.
Survivors include his mother, Lena Donley and husband Lonnie; one sister, Sherry Campbell Smith of Jonesboro; one step-brother, Josh Donley, two nephews, Jon David James and Jarred Coleman James; one niece, Julie Ann Sheedy (Asa); two great nephews, Jaxon Slade Sheedy and Tyson Adams.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 30, at 11:00am at Trinity Cemetery with Wynndel King officiating. Honorary pallbearers include, Jon David James, Jarred James, Greg Jones, James Blackman and Asa Sheedy.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 8:00pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
I will truelly miss my "bubby".Johnny was the best big brother than ANY lil sis could have. Life as I know it will forever be changed. Bubby had a heart of gold and a love for his family beyond belief. Go rest now my brother. I love you.
A hunting buddy and fishing buddy, you're at peace now my friend and I will miss you
I am so sad to hear about Johnny's passing. I, too, was a high school classmate of his. I have fond memories of him......especially his great love for football. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am truly sadden to hear of the passing of yet another member of the Warrior Clan, Class of '81'. It is with a heavy heart that extend my condolences.
