Sylvia L. ''Mamaw'' Faulk, 96, of Jonesboro, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her home. She was born September 17, 1918 in White County to the late Edwin and Clearace Cotton Ballentine. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief. She loved reading, sewing, playing domino's, and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Faulk was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry ''Peck'' Faulk; her son, William Dean Faulk; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Bandy and son-in-law, T.R. Bandy; and Barbara Frier; seven grandchildren, Harold McMickle, Jr., Tony McMickle, Shannon Haynes, Lisa Rose, Michael Faulk, Butch Faulk and James Faulk; 12 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; her sister, Eunice Grabb; and her constant companion, her chihuahua, ''Bambi''.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Harold McMickle officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 pm until the time of service. A private burial will be held at a later date at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt.

Mrs. Faulk's grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Her great grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Lasting memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
