McClellan ''Mack'' Harrington, 87, of Maynard, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born December 6, 1927 in Etowah to the late Thomas and Gladys McClellan Harrington. Mack was a heavy machine operator and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Maynard.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laverne Patterson Harrington; a son, Thomas Michael Harrington and four sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy (Linda) Harrington of Brookland, Ronnie Harrington of Bono, and Donnie Harrington of Bay; four daughters, Dianna (Reggie) Holstead of Springdale, Jane (Denton) Tumbleson of Clarksville, Terry (Brian) Wood of White Hall, and Cathy Stephens of Bono; a stepson, George Pruitt of Bay; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Harrington of Maynard.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday at Bassett Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
