Mrs. Betty ''Sissie'' Staggs Prance, 75, of Jonesboro, formerly of the Caraway and Osceola area, passed away Sunday November 16, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born November 28, 1938 to the late John and Vennie Jones Staggs. She was a retired office clerk and a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Prance; her parents; and three brothers, Don Staggs, Gary Staggs and John Staggs; and one sister, Judie Wallace.

Survivors include four sisters, Glenda Womble of Keller, Tx., Patsy Fike of Jonesboro, Susie Butterworth of Bono, and Sherrie Kirkland of Ft. Worth, Tx; two brothers, Bobby Staggs of Statesboro, GA., and Buddy Staggs of Sparta, TN; and a special life-long friend, Patsy Teaford of Jonesboro.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to the American Alzheimer's Foundation at 322 Eighth Ave. 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.

Patsy Fike and all of the Staggs family so sorry to read about the passing of your sister Betty and want you to know my prayers are with you and your family at this time of grief.

So sorry to read about the passing of Betty, she was a wonderful person to be around, with a sweet personality. She was very special to my daughter when she was going to Calvary. May God be with you all during this time, ,my prayers are with you all.
