Jewell Faulkner Moore went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2014. She was born September 9, 1936 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Ruth Underwood Faulkner. Jewell was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She was an accountant until she retired in 1976.
Jewell is survived by her husband Cliff Moore; four sisters, Betty (John) Cleaves of Jonesboro, Joyce Brock of Drummonds, TN, Maxine Mitleff and Sammie (Larry) Goucher, all of Harrisburg; a brother, Donald (Kay) Faulkner of Harrisburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, July 28 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Hwy 158, Harrisburg, Arkansas with Pastors Paul Hale and Leroy Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Bay Village Cemetery in Bay Village, Arkansas. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 pm.
Pallbearers will include Byron Mitleff, Randall Stanford, Aaron Riddle, Tony Rice, Mike Clem and John Stanford. Honorary pallbearers will be the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Mens Sunday School Class.
