Donna Stevenson Sexton, 71, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1942 in Chicago, IL. Donna was a retired RN for NEA Baptist Hospital in Germantown. She was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and loved painting and knitting.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, James W. Stevenson; her husband, Jerry Sexton; and a brother, James Philip Stevenson.
Survivors include her mother, Julia Gibson Stevenson; a son, Rick Martillo of Jonesboro; two daughters, Diedra Martillo and Mandi Mitchell both of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Slade Jenkins, Alexandra Martillo, Simon Martillo and Christian Martillo; and her best friend, Sandra Luster Montgomery.
Visitation will be 12:30 1:30 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
Graveside services will follow at 2 pm at Old Enterprise Cemetery in Jonesboro with Mack Ramsey officiating.
