Marie Browning Holland, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born May 17, 1924 in Bono to the late Jimmy and Gladys Watkins Browning. Marie was retired from the Jonesboro Public Schools. She was a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jess Holland; brothers, Lloyd Browning and Ralph Browning; an infant brother, Otis Browning; sisters, infant Marzee Browning and Othella Keith; and a son-in-law, P.E. Moore Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Arleta Moore, Sue (Carl) Moore and Euritha (Wayne) Rogers; two brothers, Leonard (Jean) Browning and Roy (Janice) Browning; two sisters, (Audra Davis and Geraldine Jones; seven grandchildren, Scott (Lisa) Moore, Sandi (Kevin) Pierce, Deloris Althen, Kimberly (Brian) Ford; Kelli (Jonathan) Craig, Jeff (Nichole) Moore and Brent Rogers; 12 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11-2 pm Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, with chapel services beginning at 2 pm. Rev. Robert Brenneman, Rev. Ken Winningham and Rev. Marion Stringer will officiate. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.
Marie's grandsons, Scott Moore, Kevin Pierce, Brian Ford, Jonathan Craig, Jeff Moore, Brent Rogers and Brandon Moore will serve as active pallbearers.
The Adult 1 and 2 Sunday School Class, Michael Nutt, Randy Jones, Bobby Davis, Dale Davis and Darrel Sexton will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to either the Faith Freewill Baptist Church, 1008 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR 72401 or to the Trinity Cemetery, in care of Gaylon Tate, 4556 CR 318, Bono, AR 72416.

So sorry to hear about Marie, I spent a lot of Sunday afternoons at their house playing with the girls. Made good memories.
